Game Reviews for the Average Gamer
What this site is all about is reviewing games. Games of all shapes, sizes genres and platforms. The average gamer does not discriminate against consoles or PC's. To be honest getting in a gaming session is a godsend in itself. The average gamer would just be glad that they have acquired the time to spend an hour on the PS3, Xbox or Even 3DS! (Not that I've got one yet...)
PS3, Xbox, PC & Mobile Game Reviews
This is why you will find all sorts of reviews on this website. We even review games that you may think are dead and buried. A great game is simply worth playing even if it is 20 years old. Hell, if someone gave me 2 spare hours and Golden Axe for the Commodore64 I'd be the happiest man alive!
But the average gamer is not all about the playing of games. It's about the entire gaming environment. Immersing yourself in the world of gaming. Whether that's game novelisations, film adaptations or general game industry news. The average gamer must soak it all in.

Command & Conquer (1995) Review written by Average Bearded Gamer
Blood pressure, dropping. Tension, ebbing. Stretching my aching back, I rub sleep from bleary eyes and sigh. I’ve just completed the original Command and Conquer. Sixteen years after its release… Following its launch in 1995, Command and Conquer, and its …

Magicka Game Review (PC) written by Average PC Gamer
Magicka ruined my Sunday. So, its Sunday night, and I am playing Magicka. There are many things that I would rather be doing right now, but no, Magika it is. Why, you might ask, am I doing something that I …

Resident Evil: Zero Hour (Book Review) written by Average Gamer
The Resident Evil series is, without doubt, my favourite series of games (yes even beating Call of Duty and Final Fantasy). So when I spotted a couple of novelisations at a local car boot sale I thought that they might …

That’s right, you heard me. I screamed. But what did I scream about? Well, read on and I’ll tell you. The first Dead Space was a fantastic game. I bought it for the PC and played it through from start …

Killzone Ascendancy by Sam Bradbury (Book Review) written by Average Gamer
As you can see I love a good book and a cup of tea. Call me old-fashioned, call me boring. It’s what I like to do besides gaming for real. What you’ll notice is that when I read, I do …

Bulletstorm Review (PS3) – A Bulletslide too far? written by Average Gamer
I really have been looking forward to this game and a few weeks ago it was bought for me by my very loving (and now possibly scarred for life) GF. She’s not as into blood and guts as I am, …

“Awsome post, I’m starting my PC parts shopping list to get prepped for the game. They should make one of those weekly magazines where you get a part each week for your SW TOR dream computer!”
